Learn to Love is a Public Education Program presented by Halton Women’s Place. Our educators visit classrooms from Grades 1-12 to discuss important topics surrounding relationships, including consent, dating violence, bullying, and media and gender stereotypes. We truly believe we can’t end violence against women without educating our children and youth. Learn more at haltonwomensplace.com/support-learn-to-love/

The Other Side of the Story: The "ABUSER"
In this episode, we're discussing the other side of the intimate partner violence story! Often we talk about and focus on the victims of abuse. In this discussion, we are taking a look at the other side so we can better and fully understand the issue of domestic violence, the whole story of abuse, of dating violence, and violence against women. In order to to understand the FULL picture- that includes discussing the "ABUSER", or those who use violence in relationships.
Kelsey Harford, Youth Dating Violence Program Coordinator and Clinical Therapist at Radius Child and Youth Services, joins the conversation. She discusses the new Teen Dating Violence Program at Radius, and helps us better understand how concepts of masculinity, trauma history and violence are interwoven.
